"Migraine"The fractal used for the background looked somewhat like a tissue section with multiple blood vessels cut in cross-section. A facial mask with a look of pain, an egg like structure with an eye , somewhat bloodshot, a portion of a red rose near the center, and a leaf distorted into the shape of a scorpion completed the picture. The result is similar to a formed migraine aura.
Unexpected
UnexpectedA large number of colorful ballon like figures stare out of their spacecraft window at a foreign landscape. They have arrived at a strange new planet (earth). The mixed media fractal piece was created by generating the fractal and taking it into photoshop, combining it with a landscape photograph and constructing the spacecraft with a large window though which the earth is being observed.

They sparkle in the light as they slowly melt, drip, drip, into the gently moving water of the stream below. A fractal is integrated within the piece to produce relaxation and a sense of peace for the viewer.
